Why should we use this method?

Whilst with search or selection it is possible to provide a guaranteed result in most circumstances, it is sometimes quicker and more cost effective to widen the net via a number of recruitment agencies.

Optus has a built relationships with a large number of agencies that collaborate through a web portal. This portal allows complete access to clients’ vacancies for any recruiter who is prepared to accept the terms and conditions. To date in excess of 200 recruiters have agreed to these conditions and supplied candidates.

This process follows 6 key stages:


1. Initial Brief
The first stage of any assignment is a crucial one. We need to make sure we have a full understanding of the type of person you need to recruit.


2. Search & Match
Once the profile is confirmed, we are the able to define required skills and experience and match your criteria as closely as possible.


3. Interviews & Candidate Profiling
Interviews provide us with credible evidence of whether the candidates are a good match and allow the candidate to convince us that their personality and individual experience is what you need.


4. Interviews & Client Liaison
This is a key stage in determining the best outcome. We will only place worthwhile candidates on the shortlist. Our experience and training is what counts when the process reaches this stage.


5. Close & Detail Offer to Client & Candidate
No need to fall at the last hurdle. We are there to lend support and deal with the practical issues.


6. Follow Up With Client
Essential for a lasting relationship.
